The team is investigating all sustainability effects of ventilation in laboratory buildings, i.e. the ecological and economical as well as the socio-cultural - here, in particular, the occupational health and safety aspects.

The work includes hazard-dependent supply and exhaust air design, room air routing and air exchange rates, and, for example, ventilation questions on demand and ventilation management during restarts after accidents.
