What makes the EGNATON annual conferences special?

This is where European laboratory specialists from all industries meet to learn about new trends and practices and share their experiences.

Which stakeholders from the laboratory world meet at the annual EGNATON conference?

The meetings establish contacts for sustainability in the laboratory world between building owners, specialist planners, architects, laboratory building operators, laboratory building users, laboratory furniture and equipment manufacturers, laboratory devices and equipment, providers of IT tools and the like.

Is this annual conference exclusively reserved for EGNATON members?

No. Of course, non-members are also welcome to attend these annual conferences - this is one of the primary purposes of our public EGNATON Annual Meetings.

Is participation in the EGNATON Annual Conference free of charge?

Unfortunately, no; contributions from outside support EGNATON's funding. These include participant fees as well as sponsorships or donations. In addition, the prices for participants are based on specific status characteristics: EGNATON members enjoy a 10% discount, and there are heavily discounted tickets for students.

What services include the conference fees?

With the conference fee, you can attend all lectures and events during the annual conference. If the EGNATON conference offers, e.g. an EGNATON Study Tour (which is otherwise additionally chargeable), this also applies to this. Drinks, snacks, midday, and dinner after the first day are also covered. However, the participation fee does not cover any additional selectable events, such as the get-together on the evening before the conference. The conference fee also does not include travel or accommodation costs.

Where and how can I register bindingly for participation in the EGNATON Annual Meeting?

As for other EGNATON meetings, we shall activate the registration on a particular website early.
However, you are also welcome to inform us of your interest in participating before the registration is activated.

Conference registration is binding

Your booking is, of course, free of charge.

Subsequent changes or even a cancellation of your booking are possible, but not free of charge. For a cost-effective change of your booking, we have to charge 60 €.

For cancellations earlier than three months before the start of the conference we charge 10% of your conference fee, for cancellations later than three months before and earlier than one month before the beginning of the conference 30%, for cancellations later than one month before and earlier than two weeks before the start of the conference 50% and for cancellations later than two weeks before the start 100%.

So please be aware that, for reasons of financial planning security, we shall send you payable invoices even if you cancel your participation after your booking.

Early booking discounts

We can offer an additional discount on the individual conference fee for early bookers in some years.

We announce the early booking deadline on the day the booking is activated. There is no early booking discount for later bookings.

We release the booking without a deadline if we do not provide an early booking discount.

Discounts on participation fees

After we have deducted pledged sponsorship and donations from the costs of the annual conference, the shortfall has been determined, which must at least be covered by the participant fees.

The amount of the participant fees for a conference, therefore, depends first on the extent of the costs, grants and donations in the current year. In addition, we offer individual discounts, e.g. for EGNATON members, for students and via multiple tickets for more than 2 participants from one company.

We announce the actual prices each year before the booking is activated.

Get together the night before

Those arriving the day before will meet regularly at the "Get Together" to get to know each other and exchange initial opinions.

The participation fee, which is charged for this when registering for the Get Together, is not part of the conference fees and will be shown additionally on the conference invoice.

Dinner after day 1

The first day of the conference ends with a working dinner, which serves the purpose of mutual exchange and is often accompanied by an evening lecture.

The dinner is part of the conference programme, so the conference fee already covers participation.

Terms and conditions for sponsors

EGNATON offers interested companies an advertising presence in exchange for sponsorship contributions. Sponsorship contributions start at 500 € and end at 10,000 €. There are certain levels to choose from for the size of this exchange.

Sponsors will be made visible before, during and after the conference with their agreed sponsorship level in all published information.

Please note that the EGNATON e.V. association is not authorised to issue tax-deductible donation receipts.

Terms and conditions for exhibitors

Exhibitors can present their products or services relevant to the laboratory during the conference period in a designated area. However, each exhibitor must strictly adhere to the space allocated by EGNATON.

The stand fee to be paid depends on the space size, the number of participants and potential visiting times within the conference schedule - experience has shown that it is between 150 and 500 € per annual conference. We recommend that interested parties contact us in good time to clarify logistical constraints.

Terms and conditions for donations

EGNATON is also always grateful for unconditional donations with or without a special dedication.

Please note that although the EGNATON e.V. association pursues charitable goals, it is nevertheless not a non-profit association that can issue corresponding tax certificates.

The amount of donations starts at 50 € and is unlimited upwards.

Donors are permanently listed on our website.
