EGNATON Events

The professional cooperation of EGNATON members must be well organised, planned and prepared structurally and as a process

in the interest of the economic use of resources.

EGNATON conferences serve the personal acquaintance of members, the professional exchange between internal and external experts, as well as the information of the interested public. They usually occur at exceptionally versatile science/technology locations - such as the Harnack House of the Max Planck Society in Berlin-Dahlem in 2017. Included were guided tours of the Fritz Haber Institute of the MPS, the MPS library and the sites and history of the Dahlem science campus.

Study Tours: We go there (physically or virtually), visit the lab building and get a realistic picture of it. We meet the architect, specialist planners, users and operators, listen to their stories and discuss them. Everyone can then take home his assessment based on his own experience. How can you learn more about a laboratory project or the creation of a laboratory building? This example comes from the Study Tour to FHNW Campus Muttenz, hosted by the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW) and EGNATON on 19 November 2019.

EGNATON Forum: The special life webinars in which experts present and discuss many aspects and facets of sustainability in the laboratory world. Developments do not suddenly come upon us. Instead, they announce themselves more or less loudly. Suitable for those who have already been able to get to know emergent topics in our forum. In this example, the SEFA Lab of the Year 2021 is reported on the 22 November 2021 Forum.
